Announcements for July 4, 2021

  • No evening Bible Study or Prayer time tonight but please be reading God’s Word and praying!
  • There is a women’s Bible study on Fridays at 9 AM at Ashley Robbins house. Please contact Ashley (840-2292) for directions or any questions you might have.
  • July 11th – Baptism service and picnic at Snake Creek shelter @ 5:00 PM. If you would like to be baptized or need help getting a ride, please contact Pastor or a member of the diaconate. We will have a grill and the meat will be provided. Bring a dish to share.
  • July 13th VBS meeting at 6:00 PM for those helping
  • Camp is filling up fast! Please get your registrations in ASAP to go!
  • 75th Anniversary Party for our church is being planned! Stay tuned for more info!
  • If you would like to help with church cleaning, please sign-up!
  • The food pantry is always accepting donations. Please place donations in the orange tote in the foyer.

Philippians 4:4 – 9

4Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice!  5Let your gentle spirit be known to all people.  The Lord is near.  6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.  7And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.  9As for the things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.
