  • Grow Groups update – sign-ups are in the Fellowship Hall next to the visitor’s book. Check the list of location, times, and leaders for a group to join and start growing deeper in the Word!
  • Today and next Sunday – Long Term Care service at 4:30 PM. Come a little earlier to help with assisting residents to the chapel and setup of songbooks.
  • Please check the kitchen for pans or dishes that were used for the potluck on Sunday. There is an assortment of items that need to go home.
  • October is Pastor Appreciation Month. There is a basket in the Fellowship Hall for our Pastor

1 Peter 1:6 – 9

6In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, 7so that the tested genuineness of your faith, more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory, 9obtaining the outcome of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
